Shelling of the colony in Zaporizhzhya region: 16 dead, dozens injured.

On the night of 29 July, Russian troops launched a massive strike on the Zaporizhzhya district, using, according to preliminary data, eight guided aerial bombs (FABs). One of the shells hit the building of a penal colony. This was reported by the head of the Zaporozhye regional military administration Ivan Fedorov in his Telegram-channel.

As a result of the attack 16 people were killed, 35 more were injured. The injured are being treated, Fedorov noted. According to him, the building of the institution was destroyed during the shelling, as well as private houses located nearby were damaged.

The head of the Ukrainian presidential office, Andriy Yermak, has already reacted to the incident. He called the strike on the colony another Russian war crime and stressed that such actions will continue if Moscow is not stopped.

Putin's regime, which through individual representatives allows itself to threaten even the United States, should be subjected to economic and military blows that can deprive it of the ability to continue the war. As long as Russia is increasing weapons production and engaging the DPRK, the threat of a large-scale war in Europe remains real," Yermak said.

Russian attacks on Zaporizhzhya region continue almost daily. The enemy actively uses missiles, drones and aerial bombs. Thus, on the night of 26 July, as a result of a UAV attack, fires broke out in the region, a residential house was destroyed and a warehouse of a farm was damaged.
