on 4 August, six people were hospitalised from Lviv's Vlasta hotel.

An explosion occurred in the Vlasta hotel in Lviv on 4 August, followed by a fire, as a result of which six people were hospitalised, including two children. According to the Lviv city council, the fire engulfed about 300 square metres. At the time of the incident there were guests in the building - everyone was evacuated.

According to preliminary data, most of the victims received minor injuries, but one person - the likely epicentre of the explosion - received serious burns. Now all the victims are being treated at the First Medical Association of Lviv.

The fire was reported at 12:23. The source of ignition was presumably on the 9th floor of the building on Kleparivska Street, 30. A group of rescuers arrived on the scene, acting on an increased call number. They managed to evacuate 15 people.

The causes of the explosion and subsequent fire are being established. Operational services and investigators continue to work on the site.
