Zelensky again called on the Russians to surrender.

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky again called on the Russians to surrender and drew attention to the emergency with the Crimean bridge. He stressed that getting out of the occupied land on their own is the best option for the occupiers. He stated this in his evening address .

If the occupiers run away while there is a chance, this will be the best option for them. If they are forced to stay, any occupier can find a way to surrender to Ukrainian captivity. We guarantee that all Russian servicemen who voluntarily lay down their arms and surrender are spared their lives. Ukraine always adheres to all international norms, all conventions,” he said.

Zelensky also said that they would not leave any other options for the occupiers to rely on them.

Recall that on the morning of Saturday, October 8, reports began to appear about a strong fire on the Crimean bridge. Subsequently, it became known that two car spans collapsed, they fell into the water.

As a source in law enforcement agencies told UNIAN, the blowing up of the Crimean bridge was a special operation of the Security Service of Ukraine.

The State Duma of the Russian Federation called the strike on the bridge a "war without rules" and called for the bombing of Ukrainian cities.
