Russians fired on Kharkiv region during serviceman's farewell, 12 people injured


Today, 4 July, at around 1:35pm, there was an explosion in Pervomayske. The Russians fired on civilians as they were saying goodbye to a Ukrainian defender.
This was reported by the head of the Kharkiv OVA, Oleh Sinehubov.
According to him, 12 people were injured as a result of the explosion, including 5 children.
In addition, several cars in the car park caught fire. Specialists and medics are on the scene to help the injured.
According to Suspilnyy, the explosion also damaged residential buildings. The explosion took place during the funeral of the deceased defender Oleh Fadeyenko, call sign "Malysh".
According to Victor Zabashta, director of the Centre for Emergency Medical Care, tentatively, a child was seriously injured and a woman was seriously wounded," the journalists added.
Clarified: as of 14:53, the police are reporting 16 casualties, including 7 children.
As previously reported, the enemy shelled the Kherson region this morning. As a result of the attack, according to preliminary information, houses were damaged and two people were killed.
