Wreckage of Russian drone Geran-2 found in Moldova (photo)
The remains of a Russian UAV with the inscription "Geran-2" were found in Moldova 500 metres from the border with Ukraine.
The wreckage of a Russian attack drone has been found in Moldova. This was reported by the Moldovan Border Police on 4 April.
It is reported that the wreckage of the Russian drone was found in the Moldovan-Ukrainian border area, about 500 metres from the border line with Ukraine.
"Today, 4 April 2024, around 14:15, near Etulia Vludiceni, Vulcanesti, the wreckage of a destroyed drone with the inscription on the wing - 'Geranium-2' was found," the Moldovan Border Police said.
The authorities immediately arrived on the scene and restricted access to the area where the wreckage of the drone was found. Now the remains of the drone are being analysed by specialists who have not yet determined the risks.
