West says which countries in the EU are Putin's main targets

Helsinki calls for increased military aid to Ukraine.
The main enemies for Russian dictator Vladimir Putin in the west are Germany and France. This was stated by Finnish Foreign Minister Elina Valtonen, writes DW.
The main targets for the Russian Federation in the framework of hybrid warfare with the West are Germany and France. The Kremlin focuses on spreading disinformation to reduce the level of support for Ukraine among the local population of these countries," she said.
Valtonen urged EU countries to spend more on defence than the NATO target of 2% of GDP.
I am ready to expect everything from Putin. It's time for us to grow up. Putin is a dictator who understands only force," she explained.
At the same time, she emphasised that the West should increase military support for Ukraine.
If someone thinks that it is possible to stop the war by stopping arms supplies, I can say only one thing: it will not lead to the end of the war, it will lead to the end of Ukraine," the Finnish Foreign Minister said.
Also commenting on the ban by some countries on strikes deep inside the Russian Federation by Ukraine, she recalled that international law does not prohibit strikes on military targets outside its own borders as part of self-defence.
