The defeat of the Russian 2S40 "Phlox" SAU was reported by public figure Sergei Sternenko in X (Twitter).

The other day the Russians revealed that they are starting to transfer to the army a new development - SAU 2S40 "Phlox", which is both a mortar and artillery installation at the same time. And now 12 Ocean's friends in Kherson region hit it with a drone, which you paid for," wrote Sternenko.

Sternenko specified that the consequences of the strike are unknown. Destroyed the installation or damaged is unknown, because the range of the strike exceeds the range of available means of aerial reconnaissance.
