The situation in this section of the front remains tense but controlled.
The Russian invaders are losing more than 50 people every day in the Bakhmut direction. The same number of occupants are wounded, the speaker of the Eastern Group of Forces Sergey Cherevaty said in a TV marathon:
Here we can say approximately by the dynamics, to round off, of course. In the area of 50 to 100 people they can lose only in the Bakhmut direction. This is only killed and as many wounded depending on the day
According to Serhiy Cherevatiy, the situation in this section of the front remains tense, but controlled. At the same time, he believes that the occupiers will not be able to surround the Ukrainian troops in Bakhmut, as the AFU is holding the defense and repulsing enemy attacks.
At the same time, he noted that the Russians were trying to change their battle tactics in the Bakhmut direction. In particular, mercenaries are forming small groups to infiltrate Ukrainian positions.
This is their main goal, when it is not possible to take them head-on, then to surround them. The command sees the nature of their actions, their intentions, and, in particular, over the past 24 hours there has been a serious "welcome" from our artillery, including with the latest high-precision systems, to somewhat cool their ardour to encircle our divisions
According to Cherevaty, there is every hope that the AFU will stop the enemy in the Bakhmut direction as well.
