Now there is a corner of Kiev and Ukraine in Paris. Today, at the invitation of the mayor of the French capital, Anne Hidalgo, we opened the Kiev square together, - Vitaliy Klitschko said.
The square is located in the centre of Paris, near the Petit Palais Museum, next to the Champs-Elysees. This event took place on the Independence Day of Ukraine.
The capital of France demonstrates the support of the French people for the struggle of Ukrainians for common European values - freedom, equality and the rule of law. The support of friends and partners is very important for us. And we must do everything to strengthen it, - the mayor of Kyiv emphasised.
