The Russian military is trying to conduct intensive sea and air reconnaissance in the city.

In Odessa, the occupiers were preparing provocations for May 2 - the eighth anniversary of the tragedy that occurred in the building of trade unions. This was reported by the Center for Counteracting Disinformation under the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine.

On April 28, 2022, at a briefing by the Russian Foreign Ministry, Zakharova recalled that May 2 marks the 8th anniversary of the tragedy that occurred in the trade union building in Odessa on May 2, 2014 and claimed the lives of 48 people, the report says.

It is reported that on April 30, representatives of criminals and collaborators were detained, who planned to organize riots and protests in Odessa on May 2. Weapons, explosives, instructions for the DRG were seized.

We ask the residents of Odessa to be vigilant and report any provocations to law enforcement officers.

In turn, the press secretary of the Odessa Regional Military Administration, Sergei Bratchuk, said that Russia is trying to sow fear among the inhabitants of Odessa and the region. The Russians stepped up information and psychological operations to create panic in the city on the eve of the events of May 2 and 9, which they "for some reason" consider sacred.

He urged not to react to the Kremlin's attempts to influence the mood of residents and to trust only official information.

Do not react to what is being thrown and trying to be thrown into your brain and into your moods. There is no need to panic, urged Bratchuk.

The speaker of the Odesa OVA said that the Russian Federation is trying to conduct intensive sea and air reconnaissance in the city. With the help of the Russian Orlan-10 drone, enemy forces are trying to reconnoiter infrastructure in Odessa and throughout the region.
