Died of torture: how a famous Lithuanian filmmaker died in Mariupol was revealed

Lithuanian director Mantas Kvedaravichus died from torture in the captivity of the invaders.
Mrpl.city writes about it.
Mantas came to the besieged Mariupol with his wife to make a documentary about the war. He took Ukrainians out of the city, which the invaders turned into hell.
Yesterday I heard at the national telemarathon that Mantas Kvedaravičius died from artillery shelling. This is not true. He died in captivity in Mariupol, and I know this, because it was my mother-in-law who he saved from the siege at the time when he was captured. It was in front of Angelina Sosnovskaya that this happened in the very center of our city, and no one else saw him alive, - Diana Berg wrote.
She noted that the Lithuanian director died from torture and bullying by the Russian occupiers. The invaders arrested Mantas in one of the courtyards through which he led the woman. At the same time, a fight began and people had to hide in the nearest house.
The Russians forcibly kept local residents in their apartments.
They put anti-aircraft guns under the windows and simply shot: bullets flied everywhere, we covered the kid, then the neighbors helped get her into the basement. This night was the most terrible that I experienced in Mariupol. We went to them asked for Mantas, explained that he was just taking us out. They said they found a bruise on his back, so he was a sniper. They didn’t see him again .., - recalls Angelina Sosnovskaya.
