Ukrenergo promised to reduce power outages

This was reported by Volodymyr Kudrytskyy, head of the board of the National Energy Company Ukrenergo, during a TV marathon.

Now the most difficult situation is in the north-east of Ukraine, in particular, in the Kiev and Kharkiv regions.

We are now working to improve the situation in the grid both in Kyiv and the oblast and in the northern region - in Kharkiv, Poltava and Sumy oblasts... I think all consumers in these regions need to bear with us for a few days, provided there is no shelling, so that improvements are already tangible and the outage schedules become more comfortable

Ukrenergo notes that the power engineers will have to work harder this week and if there is no new rocket fire, they will be able to improve the power supply situation in the central and northern regions of the country.

The key task now is to repair the backbone networks in the central and northern regions so that it is possible to transfer the necessary amount of capacity from power plants from other regions.
