Such shells are needed for Soviet-style tanks.

This was reported by Minister of Strategic Industry Oleksandra Kamyshyn in Telegram.

According to Kamyshyn, Ukraine and Poland will jointly produce 125mm tank shells. The countries signed an agreement to this effect on Wednesday, 5 April.

Yesterday, during the Ukrainian president's official visit to Poland, a relevant memorandum was signed by the CEO of the Ukrainian state holding and the management of the Polish manufacturer.

The Ministry of Strategic Industry is now focusing on boosting the production of ammunition for the Ukrainian army.

Kamyshyn added that the Ministry of Strategic Industry will focus on increasing the production of ammunition for the Ukrainian army. The shells will be produced both by Ukrainian factories and foreign companies.

The 125-mm shells are needed for Soviet-type tanks. The Ukrainian Armed Forces are equipped with such ammunition and Ukraine will receive such ammunition from its partners. In addition, such ammunition is needed for Polish PT-91 Twardy tanks, which are an upgraded version of the Soviet T-72M.
