Russia is trying to advance on the Kharkiv direction.

The Freedom of Russia Legion has recorded an appeal to the Russian military who are trying to advance on the Kharkiv direction. They called on the Russians to either surrender or switch to their side and give battle to Putin's regime, rather than give their lives for someone else's ambitions. The corresponding video was published on the LSR channel.

Putin's army has already taken Kharkiv once, and we all remember very well how it ended. A group of elite Pskov special forces were waiting for reinforcements, which in the end never came. All of them burned in the 134th school, having met brutal resistance from the locals," one of the fighters recalled.

They noted that Ukrainian soldiers heroically defend their land and the whole Kharkiv region is strewn with the bodies of invaders.

The Ukrainian armed forces are burning the equipment and tanks of the Russian army perfectly. You go to the assault and step over the bodies of your yesterday's brothers. Surely you want to die for the Kremlin's ambitions? Surely you want to sacrifice yourselves for the sake of some thugs who sit in the Kremlin and command you?" they said.

They emphasised that all those who surrendered remained alive and had a choice.

"To this end, we are launching the Path of Honour programme for the voluntary surrender of all Russian servicemen. For our part, we guarantee you safe exit from the battlefield, anonymity, food and medical care. Those who wish to remain in safe Ukrainian captivity will be given this opportunity. But those who want to join us in the fight against Putin's regime, you have every right and opportunity to join the Freedom of Russia Legion, either the RDK (Russian Volunteer Corps) or the Siberian Battalion," the participants of the recording emphasised.

They also pointed out that a number of Russian military have already made the transition and stopped fighting on the side of the invaders. Some of them remained in safe captivity, others joined the Russian volunteers who are fighting Putin's regime.
