Stefanishina explained what EU membership depends on

Earlier, Prime Minister Denys Shmihal said that Ukraine has an ambitious goal of acquiring the status of a full member of the European Union in two years.
According to Deputy Prime Minister for European and Euro-Atlantic Integration Olha Stefanyshina, Ukraine may not become a member of the European Union in two years, as Prime Minister Denys Shmygal said the day before.
She stressed that on this path, the desire of Ukrainians alone is not enough.
Even if we fulfill the association agreement, even if we fulfill all 7 recommendations and start negotiations on membership, at each stage we will need to mobilize the unity of the 27 EU countries, and to start negotiations, and to conclude negotiations, and to join the EU, to open domestic financing, she said.
Earlier, Denys Shmyhal said that Ukraine has an ambitious goal of acquiring the status of a full member of the European Union in two years. He stated this on the YES forum. At the same time, he stressed that the Ukrainian authorities plan to fulfill the seven requirements of the European Commission by the end of 2022 to start negotiations on EU membership.
Recall that among the demands, in particular, were the strengthening of the fight against corruption and the appointment of new leaders of NABU and SAPO, the continuation of reforms of the judiciary and the Constitutional Court, the implementation of the anti-oligarchic law, changes in the legislation on media resources and national minorities.
