Slovakia handed over helicopters to Ukraine

Ukraine received four Mi-17 and one Mi-2 helicopters from the Slovak government to counter Russia, as well as ammunition for Grad multiple launch rocket systems.
Aktuality reports this with reference to the country's Minister of Defense Yaroslav Nadya.
This assistance to Ukraine, like all previous deliveries, will be reimbursed to Slovakia from the European Peace Fund, which is a powerful manifestation of the EU's solidarity with Ukraine, he said.
According to the publication, helicopters and shells for the MLRS have already been received by the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Previously it was reported that the new package of military assistance from the United States is equal to $1 billion. Pentagon chief Lloyd Austin revealed the details of military assistance:
- 18 155-mm howitzers;
- 36 thousand 155-mm shells;

- additional shells for HIMARS;
– 4 vehicles for equipment repair;
- two coast guard systems with Harpoon missiles;
– thousands of protected radio stations;
- thousands of optical devices, including night vision.
Austin also said that Canada, Poland and the Netherlands would provide Ukraine with artillery.
