The SBU has seized corporate rights to 40 Ukrainian companies and 30 gas wells.

This was reported by the SBU press service.

According to the law-enforcement agencies, the Security Service of Ukraine and the Prosecutor-General's Office have seized the property of the sub-sanctioned pro-Russian oligarch Vadym Novynskyy, who is involved in aiding the aggressor country.

The list of what has been seized includes corporate rights to 40 Ukrainian companies and 30 gas wells where commercial volumes of blue fuel are produced. The total amount of property seized is over 3.5bn hryvnyas, the SBU said.

It was established that to avoid SBU sanctions, Novinskyy tried to re-register his own industrial facilities to several affiliated commercial entities. To implement the deal, he engaged controlled private notaries and state registrars. Now, according to the SBU materials, the Justice Ministry has already cancelled the illegal actions of the registrars for a number of the oligarch's businesses.

The SBU officers also searched the office premises of the companies, as well as the places of work and residence of the individuals involved.
