Planned to create a "Nikolaev People's Republic": the SBU detained a collaborator

A saboteur who wanted to create a "Nikolaev People's Republic" was caught in Ukraine.
This was reported by the press service of the SBU.
The SBU detained a Russian agent who developed the concept of the "Nikolaev People's Republic".
"The counterintelligence of the SBU detained a former deputy of the city council of Nikolaev, who was preparing for the arrival of the Russian world. On the instructions of the Russian special services, he developed the concept of the Nikolaev People's Republic, which was supposed to join the Russian Federation in the future," the message says.
He was preparing to create the Mongolian People's Republic and translate the region into Russian, get his own "coat of arms, flag and anthem."
"The enemy agent also planned that the Russian ruble would be introduced on the territory of the 'pseudo-republic', the education and healthcare systems would be reorganized along the lines of Russia, and the cultural industry would function 'on the principles and foundation of the ideas of the Russian world,'" the department said.
