The Defence Ministry made a statement through Russian vessels in the Black Sea waters

Ukraine will now consider all vessels travelling to Russian Federation seaports and temporarily occupied Ukrainian marinas as a possible threat.

The Ukrainian Defence Ministry warns that from 00:00 on 21 July 2023, all vessels following in the waters of the Black Sea in the direction of seaports of the Russian Federation and Ukrainian seaports located on the territory of Ukraine temporarily occupied by Russia, may be considered by Ukraine as such, carrying military cargo with all relevant risks," the ministry said.

The ministry also noted that the Russian Federation deliberately undermined food security and started openly threatening civilian vessels that transport food products.

According to the ministry's statement, enemy shelling of civilian infrastructure has turned trade routes into a danger zone.

By deliberately creating a military threat on trade routes, the Kremlin has turned the Black Sea into a danger zone, primarily for Russian ships and vessels... Responsibility for all the risks falls entirely on the Russian leadership," the Defence Ministry added.

We will remind, on the night of 19 July, the enemy subjected Odessa to a massive missile attack. The aggressor used Onyx and X-22 missiles, as well as kamikaze drones Shahed-136. Some of the attacks were directed at the critical and port infrastructure of the Odessa region. As a result, a hitwas recorded at the port of Chernomorsk, where grain exports were stored. More than 60 thousand tonnes of grain was destroyed.
