Defence Ministry: Russian Federation uses most professional units in attempts to seize Bakhmut
Malyar added that the enemy does not stop trying to occupy Bakhmut.
This was reported by Ukrainian Deputy Defence Minister Anna Malyar on Telegram.
The enemy today tried to conduct an offensive in the Liman, Avdyivka and Maryinka directions, but without success. The fiercest fighting of the above directions is now taking place for Marinka," wrote Malyar.
Fighting continues for Bakhmut.
In the battles for Bakhmut the enemy is attracting its most professional units. They are not only Wagnerians, but also Special Forces and airborne assault units. At the same time, they suffer significant losses," the deputy defence minister noted.
She specified that the situation there is now under control. Operational decisions on defence are taken around the clock.
