The SBU has detained and reported suspicion of a Crimean man who joined the enemy army and fought against Ukraine.



This was reported by the Security Service of Ukraine.

The Security Service has collected evidence on another traitor who fought against the Defence Forces on the southern front.

According to the investigation, a resident of the temporarily occupied Crimea voluntarily joined the Russian army because of his pro-Kremlin views. The traitor supported the aggression of the Russian Federation.

In January this year he voluntarily joined the 810th separate brigade of marines of the navy with the Russian Federation, which was stationed on the territory of the Ukrainian peninsula, - reported in the SBU.

The detainee, being a senior gunner, participated in combat operations against the AFU in Vasilievsky and Polohovsky districts of Zaporizhzhya region.

The attacker was captured by the Ukrainian defenders at the end of June this year during an ammunition attack near the village of Pyatihatki in Zaporozhye, - added in the Security Service.

Currently, the attacker in custody he was reported on suspicion under part 2 of article 111 of the Criminal code of Ukraine (state treachery committed under martial law). The man faces life imprisonment.

Earlier Socialportal reported that in Transcarpathia detained a collaborator who helped the enemy to occupy Severodonetsk. The enemy henchman stayed in Luhansk Region until the start of active hostilities, after which he fled to the territory controlled by Ukraine.
