Hungarian foreign minister explains why he went to Minsk

Hungarian Foreign Minister Péter Szijjártó said that he had gone to Minsk to call for a ceasefire and the start of peace talks, Magyar Hirlap has reported.
Thus, according to him, he asked his Belarusian colleagues not to make military steps and steps that could lead to further war and provoke its geographical expansion.
Peter Szijjártó assured that he did not speak to the Russians during his visit.
If I want to negotiate with the Russians, I'll go to Moscow and report on it. I do not need to negotiate with the Russians in Minsk in secret," stressed the Hungarian foreign minister.
It is known that Hungarian Foreign Minister Péter Szijjártó arrived in Minsk on 13 February for the purpose of peace talks.
