Belarusian border guards complain of psychological pressure from Ukrainian border guards and their "hooliganism".
Billboards with a US flag and inscriptions appeared at several Belarusian checkpoints with Ukraine: "We will help Ukraine find the real occupiers" and "Belarus remembers" with World War II footage. This is how the border guards of the republic decided to "take revenge" for the scare caused to them by "Valera".
We would like to point out that the day before, in a story on the state TV channel of Belarus ONT, border guard officers complained about psychological pressure from Ukrainian border guards and their "hooligan antics".
A mock-up of a hanged serviceman in the uniform of the Russian army, whom the Ukrainian representatives called Valera, was installed. They said it was a serviceman killed near Kiev," they said as well.
Exactly how the Belarusian border guards found out that the dummy's name was Valera is not specified.
