Ukraine has recorded 208 crimes of a sexual nature committed by the Russian occupiers. The youngest victim is 4 years old.

To date, five indictments have been filed in court for sexual offences related to the war in Ukraine. One perpetrator has been sentenced to 12 years in prison.

This information was provided to Socialportal by the Office of the Prosecutor General.

As of today, 208 facts of sexual offences related to the war in Ukraine (hereinafter - SNPK) committed by the Russian military have been revealed. Five indictments have been sent to court and one person has been sentenced to 12 years in prison," the statement said.

It is noted that the minimum age of the victim from the SNPK is 4 years, the child survived. The investigation has identified the perpetrator, but the Prosecutor General's Office is not giving details of the investigation.

The youngest SNPK victim is 4 years old and alive. A pre-trial investigation has identified the person who probably committed the crime. At the same time, due to the security measures taken for the victim and the secrecy of the pre-trial investigation, we cannot say in which area the crime was committed," the UCP told Sotsportal.

It should be recalled that today June 19 is the International Day to Combat Sexual Violence in Conflict. Previously, Soportal told why the enemy uses sexual violence as a method of warfare, the extent of the problem. And also where victims of violence can seek help.
