Russia has a shortage of long-range missiles.

Yuriy Ignat, spokesman for the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, said this on the air of a TV marathon.

According to Ignat, the main reason why Russia did not conduct a massive missile attack on Ukraine on the anniversary of the start of the full-scale invasion, February 24, is that it "could not afford it.

The question is what they can afford to fire at Ukraine at this time. We know how many missile carriers they have in the Black Sea - quite a number of ships that can launch cruise missiles. The total salvo seems to be over 40 missiles. Not once have that many Kalibers flown from ships in the Black Sea. We were talking about 10-15 Kalibers give or take. Most missiles flew from airborne carriers, from Tu-95.

Now predominantly Russia is attacking Ukraine with small groups of Iranian Shahed drones, as they have enough of these means.

It is worth recalling that in the past various security services warned that Russia might launch a massive missile attack on the anniversary of the war. In particular, Kirill Budanov, head of the State Security Service of Ukraine, spoke about it.
