The GSD showed the burning of the Russian Su-34

On the night of 4 January, a Su-34 tactical bomber burned down at a Russian airfield in the city of Chelyabinsk.

The video of the burning aircraft was released by the Ukrainian Defence Ministry's main intelligence directorate on Facebook.

"On the night of 4 January 2024, a Su-34 tactical bomber burned down at the Russian airfield Shagol (Chelyabinsk)," the report said.

It is noted that this combat aircraft belonged to the aviation regiment of the 21st mixed air division of the PCC from the Russian Federation.

The Defence Ministry's GSD added that "the causes of the aircraft fire are being clarified".
