The National Police of Ukraine received a group of service dogs from Europe (video)

The previous group of four-legged helpers arrived in Ukraine in early August. This is reported by the communication department of the Lviv region police.

All the puppies transferred by foreign partners are of German Shepherd and Malinois (Belgian Shepherd) breeds. The dogs are aged from one year and they have already passed a basic training course.

In the future, these dogs will undergo special training and will go to the de-occupied territories. There they will help in demining, search for explosives and drugs, as well as in the performance of other tasks, - said the head of the Department of organisation of cynological activities of the National Police, Lieutenant Colonel of Police Svitlana Kolomiets.

She also said that foreign partners together with the dogs hand over the necessary accessories for animal care, food, ammunition, training and training equipment and other property.
