ATESH guerrillas conducted reconnaissance of a defence facility in Voronezh: data on the production of Iskander-M engines was recorded.

The ATESH guerrilla movement has reported a successful reconnaissance operation on the territory of the Chemautomatics Design Bureau in Voronezh, one of the key enterprises of the Russian defence industry. About it writes RBC-Ukraine with reference to the statement of the movement.

According to the published information, the ATESH agent inspected the facility in detail, documented the location of buildings, infrastructure, as well as vehicles parked on the territory. All the collected materials have already been handed over to the Ukrainian Defence Forces.

What KBKhA produces

KBKhA is part of the Roscosmos state corporation and is engaged in the development and production of liquid rocket engines. According to ATESH, the facility produces engines for Iskander-M missile systems, which are actively used by the Russian army to shell Ukrainian territory.

In addition, the enterprise, together with the Voronezh Mechanical Plant, is part of the production chain for engines for intercontinental ballistic missiles (RS-20, RS-18), anti-aircraft systems, as well as Soyuz and Proton launch vehicles.

According to the representatives of the movement, the data obtained will make it possible to identify the workers involved in the production of weapons used against Ukraine.

Earlier, the AFU General Staff reported a missile attack on the area of concentration of Russian missile forces in the Bryansk Region, near the town of Klintsy. The target of the attack was a unit of the 26th missile brigade of the Russian Federation, which was preparing to launch Iskanders. As a result of the strike, one launcher was destroyed and two others were damaged.
