Zelensky responded to the petition to abolish visa-free travel to Belarus

This is stated in a message on the website of the head of state.

I keep under control measures aimed at strengthening the regime for exercising control over the crossing of the border by Belarusian citizens with Ukraine, — President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky said.

The President also noted that the border between Ukraine and Belarus is closed for entry to citizens of Belarus and other foreigners, starting from February 26.

Zelensky said that the Cabinet of Ministers was invited to consider the issue raised in the electronic petition in accordance with its competence, as well as to continue relevant work, taking into account the development of the situation, the implementation of measures to protect the national interests of Ukraine and its citizens.

The petition dated July 4, 2022 proposed to cancel the visa-free regime with Belarus.
