795 children affected by Russian aggression in Ukraine

Since the start of Russia's invasion of Ukraine, 795 children have been affected. Of these, 287 children died, another 508 received injuries of varying severity. This was reported by the Office of the Attorney General on Facebook .

Most of all, as a result of Russia's actions, children suffered in the Donetsk region - 217, Kharkiv - 149, Kyiv - 116, Chernihiv - 68, Luhansk - 53, Kherson - 52, Mykolaiv - 48, Zaporozhye - 30, Sumy - 17, Zhytomyr - 15, and also in Kyiv - 16,

The number of injured children has increased dramatically, as in the course of fixing offenses, it became known that 16 more children were injured as a result of shelling in the Kharkiv region.

Thus, the Office of the Prosecutor General reported that on June 3, an 11-year-old girl was injured due to the shelling of Balakleya by the invaders.

Earlier, on May 30, as a result of the shelling of Kharkov, a 16-year-old boy was delivered to a medical facility with mine-explosive wounds.

It also became known that a 17-year-old boy was wounded as a result of the shelling of a car by the invaders at the beginning of the war in Kharkov.

We add that as a result of rocket and artillery shelling of Ukrainian cities, tens of thousands of civilians were killed, many were injured. Nearly 220,000 people have lost their homes.

Millions of citizens were forced to leave the occupied or war-affected territories. 8 million became internally displaced persons, 6.5 million left Ukraine as refugees.
