Mikhail Podolyak, adviser to the head of the President's Office, believes that Kherson may soon become Ukrainian again. He is sure that after the Antonovsky bridge ceases to be suitable for movement on it, the Russian invaders will show another "goodwill gesture" and leave Kherson. He stated this in an interview with DW .

The second example, which may be in the near future, is the legendary Antonovsky bridge in the Kherson region. As soon as it ceases to function, Russia will understand that it is necessary to demonstrate a "gesture of good will" and leave Kherson, Podolyak added.

It is known that on July 19, the Ukrainian military hit the Antonovsky bridge in occupied Kherson, which connects the city with the left bank of the Dnieper. Later, a deputy of the regional council, Sergei Khlan, specified that the blow had been struck at the base of the occupiers near the bridge. According to him, due to the explosion of the Antonovsky bridge, the Russians had problems with overturning heavy weapons and ammunition for their group on the other side of the river.
