The Interior Ministry says how many Ukrainians have already signed up for the Offensive Guard

Almost all the Guard units are formed.
As of today, some 28,000 people have already signed up for the Offensive Guard, which is being formed by the Ukrainian Interior Ministry. As of today, almost all units have already been formed. This was announced by Interior Minister Igor Klymenko at a TV marathon.
First of all, applications went through Administrative Service Centres and through the relevant website. Of course, not everyone gets into these units, because the selection is quite tough. We have already started training almost all units in our country and not everyone makes it there," said the Minister.
He added that additional volunteers are already being recruited today to form a reserve for the future.
Earlier, the Minister stated that the minimum salary of a soldier of the Offensive Guard would be 25,000 hryvnia. This amount is basic, and the actual payment will be determined depending on the area of the person and the nature of combat operations. In addition, fighters' salaries will also be determined by the position in which they are stationed.
According to Klimenko, the decision to create assault brigades was made by employees of the Interior Ministry system "who have enough rage to destroy the enemy". These brigades are expected to take part in the liberation of Luhansk, Donetsk and Crimea.
