The Ministry of Internal Affairs called the number of civilians killed in the war
The figures are not final, since there is no exact data on the dead residents of Mariupol.
The war unleashed by Russia against Ukraine took the lives of more than seven thousand Ukrainians - civilians who had nothing to do with military service. This was stated by the First Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs Yevgeny Yenin on the air of the telethon.
He also noted that war is not only about death. According to him, about 5.5 thousand Ukrainians were injured as a result of hostilities. At the same time, they received both light wounds and severe injuries.
According to him, since February 24, the police have recorded 22,000 attacks by the Russian army, which hit more than 24,000 civilian objects.
We add that the police still do not have data on the death of civilians in the occupied Mariupol, Kherson, Melitopol, and other settlements occupied by Russians. This means that the number of victims of war can increase significantly.
