Activist who expressed his position on UN inaction to be tried for hooliganism

On 7 June, stickers reading "Useless" appeared on UN vehicles for inaction after occupants blew up the Kakhovska HPP dam. The relevant photos were posted on Twitter by a user named Yoss (Joseph Husak).

Yesterday he released a text message demanding to appear at the Podilskyi district court in Kyiv.

Joseph Gusak as a person charged with administrative offence is informed that the court hearing in case 758/7017/23 under Article 173 of the Code of Administrative Offences is scheduled for 8:50 am on September 22, 2023," the message said.

Note: Article 173 incriminates disorderly conduct and is punishable by a fine of three to seven untaxed minimum incomes, community service for 40 to 60 hours, correctional labour for one to two months with a 20% deduction in earnings, or administrative detention for up to 15 days.

The report does not say who filed the lawsuit.

I've been put on trial for my birthday," Yoss informs his subscribers. He also commented on the incident:

No vandalism, just expressing my position.
