In Kyiv, the police check the protective structures in schools

From September 1, in the conditions of war, little Ukrainians will be able to attend only those educational institutions that are provided with protective structures.
This was reported by the press service of the patrol police in Kiev.
Patrol police officers, together with representatives of the State Emergency Service, the Regional State Administration, employees of the district departments of education, checked the protective structures in the capital's educational institutions.
The main prerequisite for the opening of educational institutions is the presence of shelters. After all, only where they are will children be able to study, - they said in the department.
Schools and kindergartens should not just be equipped with storage facilities like basements. It should be warm, light, comfortable and safe for children to stay there during a long air raid.
The created commission checks, in particular: the condition of the premises, the ventilation system, electricity supply, water supply, the serviceability of the warning system, the fire condition, the department added.
