Families and relatives of Azovstal defenders took part in the rally in Kyiv


Relatives of those killed in Yelenovka believe that the events could have been a pre-planned action.
In Kyiv on Saturday, July 30, an action was held by the families of the defenders of Azovstal. They gathered at Sofia Square. in total, about a hundred native Ukrainian defenders of Mariupol took part in the action.
Families and relatives of Ukrainian prisoners of war asked the authorities to pay attention to how the Russian troops deal with captured Ukrainian soldiers, Suspilne informs.
In particular, the wife of the commander of the Azov regiment, Denis Prokopenko, Ekaterina, appealed to politicians abroad to recognize the Russian Federation as a sponsor of terrorism.
The relatives of the Azov residents also drew attention to the fact that when the defenders of Azovstal laid down their arms, international organizations, the UN and the International Committee of the Red Cross assured that nothing threatened their lives and health.

Recall that on the night of July 29, the Russian invaders carried out a targeted execution of the colony with Ukrainian prisoners of war defenders in Yelenovka, as a result of which 53 Ukrainian soldiers were killed and 75 more were injured.
