A man was hit on a pedestrian crossing in Desnyanskyi district of Kyiv

A woman was hit by a car at a pedestrian crossing. The woman died of her serious injuries in the ambulance.
This was reported by the Kyiv police communications department.
This afternoon, a traffic accident occurred at the intersection of Krasnaya Kalina Avenue with Arkhitektora Mykolaiv Street.
It is established that driving on the roadway the driver of "Nissan", born in 1955, hit a woman, born in 1943, who was crossing the road on a regulated pedestrian crossing, - said in the message.
The victim died on the way to hospital. Another pedestrian managed to escape and suffered no injuries.
It is noted that the driver of the car was sober. An investigation has been launched against the offender, and he faces from three to eight years' imprisonment with or without deprivation of the right to drive vehicles for up to three years.
