In Cherkasy region, an employee of a military recruitment centre and his accomplices are suspected of bribery

This was reported by the office of the prosecutor-general.

Three persons, including an employee of the military enlistment office, were reported on suspicion of receiving 3 thousand US dollars of undue advantage (part 5 of article 27 part 3 of article 368 of the Criminal code of Ukraine). Among the suspects:

• an official of one of the district territorial centres of manning and social support;
• a representative of a health care institution;
• a civilian.

According to the investigation, the suspects received 3,000 US dollars. For these funds, they promised to provide a decision on the recruitment of a conscript to the military registration, to draw up and issue him a certificate of assignment to the conscription area, - stated in the message.

It is noted that one of the suspects elected a measure of restraint in the form of detention. Also to the court sent a petition on the measure of restraint of two other persons.
Pre-trial investigation is carried out by the SU GUNP in Cherkassy region with operational support of the USS in Cherkassy region of the DSSR of the Emergency Department of Ukraine.
