Unidentified object flies into Poland as Russian Federation fires on Ukraine

Andrzej Duda calls an emergency meeting due to a violation of Polish airspace by an unknown object.
Polish President Andrzej Duda is convening an urgent meeting with the military on 29 December after the country's airspace was violated during a massive Russian missile attack on Ukraine. This was reported by the Polish presidential office in the social network X.
The Polish President said he had a conversation with Polish Defence Minister Wladyslaw Kosiniak-Kamysz. Andrzej Duda calls an urgent meeting with Poland's top military command.
The Polish defence minister also reacted to the incident with an object that flew from Ukraine into Polish territory. He noted that state services reacted immediately to the appearance of an unidentified object in Polish airspace.
A representative of the Air Force of the AFU, Yuriy Ignat, said on the air of the telethon that violation of airspace during the massive strikes of the Russian Federation is not something new.
As a result of massive attacks it can happen. The enemy is attacking border areas in the west (of Ukraine, - ed.), so it is possible. This is another signal to our partners to reinforce Ukraine with the necessary amount of air defences so that we become a shield between the aggressor and Europe. Protect ourselves and protect them," the Air Force representative said.
He recalled how a few months ago one of the Russian attack UAVs fell on the territory of Romania. Similar cases occurred on the territory of Poland.
On the night of 29 December, Russian troops launched a massive strike on Ukrainian cities. There are casualties and destruction in Kyiv, Kharkiv, Dnipro, Odessa, Lviv, Zaporizhzhya and other cities.
