Ukraine could lose hundreds of millions of dollars from ban on agricultural exports

This was stated by Agrarian Policy and Food Minister Mykola Solskyy.

According to him, half of all Ukrainian agricultural exports were to Eastern European countries. Now, due to the ban on exports of some countries, losses may amount to "hundreds of millions of dollars" for Ukraine.

Currently, the import of Ukrainian agricultural products is banned in three countries: Poland, Slovakia and Hungary. At the same time, transit through these countries is allowed.

Everything we had since the opening of the sea corridor, about half of it went by sea, about half went through the western countries, and also through the Danube.

Poland's share of Ukraine's total agricultural exports was 10%, of which half was transit and half imports. Slovakia's share was 1.5% and Hungary's was 5-6%.
