Russia is trying to take advantage of the time while Ukraine awaits military aid, particularly from the United States.

Ukraine should prepare for massive attacks from the Russian Federation. The Kremlin can take advantage of the situation when US aid has not yet arrived and intensify its aggression. This was stated by the speaker of the Air Force of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, Ilya Yevlash, during a telethon.

Massive attacks, which we have all seen - this is actually the same use of time. Of course, the enemy will intensify its strikes on our territory as much as possible to knock out critical, energy infrastructure as much as possible," Yevlash said.

According to the Armed Forces spokesman, it should be understood that the Russian Federation still has quite a lot of missiles in stock, besides, the enemy does not stop producing new ones.

Therefore, of course, it all goes on. And, in fact, until the supply of both air defence systems and F-16s, we need to hold on and repel these attacks. We are waiting now for the F-16, and of course, that this will be a powerful addition to our air defence system - including together with ground installations, REB systems. Of course, this will help us to protect our cities," the major emphasised.

Yevlash stressed that Ukrainian defenders continue to need air defence systems, including Patriot and missiles to them.

And, of course, that Patriot are not the only ones. In order for them to work effectively, we need to cover them, because there are so many drones now. We need different systems, in particular modifications of old Soviet systems, which can be brought into proper condition and used, including both old Soviet missiles and Western missiles, - explained the representative of the Armed Forces.

We will remind, the US House of Representatives passed a bill on financing aid to Ukraine. Now this issue should be considered by the US Senate on 23 April and then signed by US President Joe Biden.
