A girl who was seriously injured during the Russian attack on Chernihiv has been operated on at Kyiv's Okhmatdet hospital. Doctors are fighting to save the child's injured arm. This was told in social networks by her older sister Diana Borets, who also lives in Chernihiv.

The sister of the injured girl pointed out that the child also has a brain shaken and bruised lungs. The girl is after the operation in a state of shock.

Now there is no threat to life, the main thing is that there were no complications. We hope that the hand will take root. She is in shock, psychologically very traumatised, the doctors are not making any prognoses yet. Pray with us that she does not lose her arm," wrote Diana Borets.

As of Sunday morning, 20 August, 41 people out of 148 injured in the Russian missile attack on the city drama theatre remained in Chernihiv hospitals. 15 of the wounded have been operated on.
