How many people remain in Avdiivka has been revealed
Some 2,200 people, including children, remain in Avdiivka.
The head of the city military administration, Vitaliy Barabash, said this on Radio Liberty.
He said that 180 people had left the city in the past three weeks. And 150 residents evacuated on 19 March, only 14 on 20 March.
Approximately 1910. 1,900 is what we count from the statements people write when they receive humanitarian aid. But in reality there are a little more, because not everyone wants to receive humanitarian assistance and not everyone comes. Approximately 2,200 we see. There are still seven children among them. A fortnight ago we had 47 children. We have a goal to get all children out of the city by the end of the week," said the Head.
We shall remind you that due to the large-scale shelling of Avdiivka, the government is calling on civilians to leave the city and evacuate to a safer location.
