The number of Ukrainian children studying in Germany continues to increase.

This was reported by a meeting of education and culture ministers of the German states in Berlin, the Berliner Zeitung reported.

According to official figures, almost 210,000 Ukrainian children are now registered and studying in German schools.

This number has increased. Only a week ago there were 1,600 fewer children and teenagers registered - 207,919.

It is worth noting that quite a few students study in Poland as well. As of the end of February almost 188 thousand Ukrainian children studied in schools and kindergartens.

It is quite a big number. European politicians are already trying to plan what the further consequences of this will be.

For example, European Commission Vice President Dubravka Šuica believes that countries that host Ukrainian refugees, such as Germany and Poland, will have to adapt to the fact that Ukrainians will remain in the country for years after the war ends.
