Russian saboteurs in Sumshchyna stopped by the Defence Forces

In Sumy Region, the Defence Forces have stopped an attempt by an enemy sabotage and reconnaissance group (DRG) to cross the state border. This is reported by the State Border Service.

Over the past 24 hours in Sumy region during the joint performance of combat missions border guards together with AFU servicemen found several people of the enemy DRG, who were moving from the territory of the aggressor country - border guards reported

The saboteurs were fired on, and a small arms battle ensued.

To reinforce the battlefield, the reserves of the State Border Service and the AFU units moved to the scene. Artillery and mortar crews were involved.
