Russia begins building fortifications in Crimea


Russia is preparing for a Ukrainian counter-offensive.
The Russians are preparing for battles for Crimea and are building fortifications, the Ukrainian Armed Forces' General Staff has said.
According to the Ukrainian Armed Forces' General Staff, Russian conscripts have been brought in for engineering work.
150 Russian conscripts have arrived from the Chelyabinsk Region to carry out engineering work," the report reads.
Additionally, the Russian Federation is strengthening defensive fortifications in Zaporizhzhya and Luhansk regions. According to British Defence Intelligence, the Russians are building fortifications near Tarasovka. Also, those have been laid between Vasylivka and Orekhovo.
At the moment, the invaders are concentrating their main efforts on carrying out offensives in the Kupyansk, Liman, Bakhmut, Avdeevka and Shakhtar directions.
We would like to point out that currently the front line in Ukraine is approximately 1,288 km long.
