Reznikov explained what was his mistake before the invasion

Reznikov admitted that he was wrong about the Russian attack.
Ukrainian Defense Minister Oleksiy Reznikov admitted that he made a mistake about the Russians. He said that he did not believe in the merciless bombardment of peaceful cities by Russian troops. He hoped that the Russians were "not so finished", but he was mistaken. He admitted this in an interview with RBC-Ukraine .
The minister noted that he admitted his mistake and now he has quite a clear idea of the enemy.
I am not ashamed to say that I was expressing a serious assumption, which I was seriously mistaken when I said that I do not believe that Putin would bomb Ukrainian civilian cities. And I say that I was mistaken, because I did not believe that they were so "finished" in that "Orkostan", that they would be so dissatisfied and annoyed that Ukrainians, especially the Russian-speaking part of the population in the East of Ukraine - Kharkiv region, Volnovakha, Mariupol “They will not be met with flowers, but will resist,” the minister said.
At the same time, the minister considers the shelling of peaceful cities and the killing of civilians to be solely the revenge of the head of the Kremlin.
It should be noted that the Armed Forces of Ukraine, which have already liberated more than 3,000 square kilometers from the invaders in 11 days of September, have 50 km left to the state border in the Kharkiv region.
