The Armed Forces of Ukraine continue the counteroffensive in the eastern and southern directions.
President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky announced the liberation of another settlement in the Kharkiv region.
Another sacked locality! Thanks to the 14th separate mechanized brigade named after Prince Roman the Great, the Ukrainian flag returned to the Chkalovskoe village in the Kharkov region. And so it will be everywhere. We will expel the occupiers from every Ukrainian city and village,” the president wrote on the Telrgram channel and posted a video with the raising of the state flag in the liberated city.
Note that the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Kharkiv region broke through the lines of the invaders to a depth of 70 kilometers. Ukrainian forces are expected to be able to fully liberate Izium in as little as 48 hours, according to the Institute for the Study of War (ISW).
According to international analysts, the Ukrainian counter-offensive in the Kharkiv region has defeated Russian troops and destroys the axis of the Russian direction to the northern Donbass.
