Vladimir Putin, met with "military correspondents" and said that the AFU commander-in-chief, Valeriy Zaluzhniy, is allegedly not in Ukraine but "somewhere abroad". A fragment of the video is being actively circulated in telegram channels.

Where is he? Where is he there? I know... I think I know... You ask him where. But you'd have to switch to a foreign language to do that. I think he's abroad. But I could be wrong," Putin said in response to a question from propagandist Alexander Sladkov (Izvestia).

Notably, while talking about the Ukrainian "iron" general, Putin began to stammer.

It should be noted that the topic of the "iron general" is very painful for the Kremlin. Russia is actively spreading fakes about his death, injuries, and that he is somewhere abroad.

At the same time, Russian officials avoid publicly confirming fakes about Zaluzhny. In particular, the head of Russia's Foreign Intelligence Service, Sergey Naryshkin, said that the authorities receive information about Zaluzhnyy's state of health, but would not want to divulge anything.
