Pseudo-referendum: what to do in order not to help the occupiers

In the Russian-occupied territories of Donetsk, Luhansk, Kherson, and Zaporizhzhia regions, "referendums" on joining the Russian Federation are being held on September 23-27.
Ukrainian authorities urge to ignore quasi-referendums.
The enemy imitates "referendums" in the temporarily occupied territories to somehow try to legitimize their occupation," writes spravdi.gov.ua.
Tips on how to avoid "voting":
1. It is best to leave the temporarily occupied territory. If this is not possible, do not come to public places where plots are equipped;
2. Invaders can come home for your vote. Therefore, it is better to change your place of residence, do not open to anyone;
Ukrainians are also advised to avoid open conflict and say:
- already voted
- religious beliefs do not allow
First of all, think about your safety. If dodging "voting" puts you at risk, don't do it. "Voting" itself is not a criminal offense, experts say.
Also, Ukrainians are urged to refuse to work in the commission and not to provide technical assistance. And they warn that for helping the enemy, criminal liability is provided for up to 15 years in prison.
